Some weddings are sweet. Others are stylish. Breeana and Brian’s was both — a heartfelt celebration with elevated touches, coastal charm, and a dance floor no one wanted to leave. Hosted at Wellen Park in Venice, Florida, their January wedding was more than just a day — it was a beautifully choreographed weekend that honored their story, their people, and their vision.
The celebration kicked off Friday afternoon with a seamless rehearsal at Wellen Park. With officiant Roger Eaton leading the ceremony run-through and our Moments Unveiled team fine-tuning every detail (from ceremony cues to backup weather plans), everyone arrived ready to enjoy — not stress.
The morning began at Capstan Financial, where Breeana and her bridesmaids, flower girl, and moms got pampered and prepped. Hair by Blush Beauty Bar and makeup by Lujain’s Beauty flowed like clockwork — with a fruit and cheese tray on standby to keep energy high and spirits even higher.
Meanwhile, Brian and the groomsmen prepped on the opposite side of the suite — no first look here! Corner House Photography arrived to capture every moment, from robe portraits to those emotional dress reveals and getting-ready candids.
At 4:30 PM, guests were ushered into the outdoor ceremony on Canopy Green at Wellen Park, styled with faux florals and dreamy pampas grass arrangements by the bride. Breeana walked down the aisle with her father to the gentle sounds of Henry Smith’s piano version of “Iris,” while DJ Steve from To Honor You Weddings and Special Events handled ceremony sound flawlessly.
Officiant Roger Eaton led a sentimental and sweet ceremony — complete with personal vows, ring exchanges, and a joyful pronouncement to the sound of “You Shook Me All Night Long” by AC/DC. (Because every great love story deserves a little rock ’n’ roll.)
After the ceremony, guests transitioned to Solis Hall for cocktail hour while the couple snuck away for golden-hour portraits with Corner House Photography. Breeana and Brian also had a private first look at the reception space — a beautiful moment to breathe, reflect, and admire all their vision coming to life.
The Banyan House served a stunning spread of appetizers (think: seared ahi tuna, lobster-stuffed mushrooms, and pulled pork sliders), while their bartending team kept the beer and wine flowing. Liquor was available for purchase — a smart touch that balanced guest experience and budget with ease.
At 6:15 PM, DJ Steve got the energy going with high-impact intros. The groomsmen entered to “SexyBack,” the bridesmaids followed to “Run the World (Girls),” and finally — Breeana and Brian were announced as Mr. and Mrs. Rutan to “Good Life” by Kanye West. Their first dance to Chris Stapleton’s “Joy of My Life” was pure romance.
Dinner service from The Banyan House was top-tier: a plated feast featuring filet mignon, lobster ravioli, and chicken marsala. While guests dined, heartfelt toasts filled the room, followed by parent dances, including a touching father-daughter moment to Alan Jackson’s “You’ll Always Be My Baby.”
The dance floor officially opened with glow sticks in hand — courtesy of the bride’s décor stash — and it never emptied. The cake, crafted by Publix at West Villages Marketplace, was cut to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” (a total crowd-pleaser), followed by sweet cupcakes served for dessert.
As the night wound down, Moments Unveiled quietly handled every last detail — from vendor coordination and gift packing to clean-up and tip confirmations. Breeana and Brian closed the evening hand-in-hand, surrounded by loved ones, with nothing to worry about but soaking up the joy.
